I am unable to log onto Livejournal...

I have been unable to log onto LJ since yesterday and cannot figure this out here. I wonder if anyone else is having problems with this. I am trying to cross post this from my dreamwidth account. I cannot figure out if this is my problem or LJ. Anyways. I won't be around here until this resolves. I am researching it on the internet. Every other website comes up fine here so not sure. I can see that the site is up and functioning but I cannot log in or get on here at all. 

Anyways. Just thought I would post this and see if it goes through and let you know where I went to.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter (2012)

The real story of Abraham Lincoln, kick ass vampire hunter and why the Civil War was really fought.

Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, discovers vampires are planning to take over the United States. He makes it his mission to eliminate them.

So this enactment of the book bore little resemblance to the original story. It took a totally different tact and while I kept going "huh" while I watched it, I think that it ultimately worked as a movie. I do consider them different stories though, the book and the movie. I mean they were totally different plots. The only similarities were - Abe Lincoln slays vampires, he rises to the presidency and civil war stuff. I don't want to ruin the plot but here is what is cool about the movie - really well done action scenes of the axe wielding, slow mo variety, the actor looked uncannily like Abe Lincoln, very cool vampire effects and the pacing of the movie was tightly done. I also really liked the portrayal of Mary Todd in the film and that actress was well chosen.

Anyway, I liked this and found it entertaining. It lived up to my expectations. What was disappointing is that I think this will flop in the theaters as there were only five people in the prime time showing on a Saturday night, opening weekend.

68/100 Bourne Legacy (movie trailer)

This looks good. I really like the Bourne series and read the books when I was younger. I read the original ones by Robert Ludlum. This movie comes out Aug 3.

I love the guy who is the lead actor in this. He played Hawk Eye in Avengers. Totally hot.
