Anonymous Secret Admirer Valentine's!

VALENTINE'S DAY SECRET ADMIRER EXTRAVAGANZA -- a tradition started a few years back by Ennorwen, who has, unfortunately for all of us, retreated from both fandom and LJ -- has been picked up by the lovely and talented kenazfiction. I've lifted her description and pasted it below.

1) Choose up to 10 people (negotiable upon request) from your flist. Write a sentence or two about how you feel about them. Could be as simple as "you always make me smile," or "I love your icons," or "I'm thinking of you."

2) EITHER Email your list to (kenaz) at kenazfiction@gmail.com OR post a comment to the following entry:

All comments will be screened and allow anonymous posting on THAT ENTRY ONLY.

3) You have until midnight (EDT USA) February 12th to send them in. No exceptions.

4) On February 14, Kenaz will post a list of all the people who received comments and post all of the comments that they received...without revealing who sent them. Hopefully, lots of you will wake up on Valentine's Day to all kinds of anonymous love AND hot, steamy Elf and/or Man tales!

Please note that you do not have to restrict your messages to Tolkien slashers only - though please make sure that their LJ name is correctly noted. Though the "posters" of such messages are restricted to Tolkien FPS slashers. (Holy smokes - can you just imagine if the whole wide world responded!)

PLEASE DO FEEL FREE TO "STEAL" THIS IDEA FOR YOUR LITTLE PIECE OF FANDOM!

Also, PLEASE DO FEEL FREE TO SPREAD THIS AROUND YOUR TOLKIEN FPS FRIENDS! Her flist is purposely small, so I'd welcome a lot more players that aren't on mine. Obviously, your chances of receiving the love increasae if your own flist is involved. She will make the final post public so that everyone can see and refer to it.

Even if you don't know Kenaz, I encourage you to participate. After all, if I leave you something nice, you want to read it, right? Right! :D

Better late than not at all. This guy's name is Trent West. Trent is not the kind of guy you can go out with though I would not throw this guy out of bed. :P It is his name really. I cannot imagine saying it in a sentence. Let's try it, shall we?

In other news...I spent my weekend getting things done like laundry and food shopping. I did a final read of my Slashy Valentine and did the really final edits of that. I get to the point where I could futz with a story forever so I better just post it. It is done really. Done! I am in the mood to work on some other WIPs I have going so might write while the writing is good.

Decided to see Man on a Ledge after payday and feeling more flush. So that is the status of that. I have open graphics offers in juicy_grapes and hypnotiic. Feel free to join those comms and check those out.
