Doo bee doo...Weekend Post...
Oct. 22nd, 2011 08:10 amHere I am with a weekend post...doo bee doo. What to say?
I had a good week. Got a lot accomplished at work. I have an event next week in Pasadena CA so I had to kick it and I did. I am not going to the event which is great. I don't want to go. I am remote controlling this one from here and I can miss this one. Hoping it works. We have three other people going for this one so the budget is not there to send me on the trip. So that is ok. I get nervous when I am not there to see to the details and have to direct off site but that is how it goes. Not my fault then is it? Only so much I can do this way. Plan for all contingencies.
Last night I went to the mall (San Leandro) and checked out the Eileen Fisher Store and Nordstom rack. I bought a substantially reduced sweater at EFS and then found a way cheap EF shirt at Norstrom for about 150.00 less than it would have been at the other store. Happy about that! I like clothes but never pay full price. That is my motto. I always have to get a deal. The sweater is a grey, cashmere cowl neck and will be warm on the chilly winter days.
This weekend will be full of laundry, cleaning and nice weather and I have an idea for a little scene story about elves sunbathing (First Age under the new Sun). I should write that.
Anyways. That is all I have and I hope that you are well!
