Hand stand, Update and Slashy Valentine!
Jan. 16th, 2011 10:56 amI love this picture and this pose. It is really fun! Here I am with today's bunday pic.

In other news...
I am on the mend but this flu has held on longer than I thought it would or should. Le grippe. I went back to work on Thursday but still felt tired and sick. I finally got out and took an exercise walk on Saturday and while it was difficult, it felt good to be out in the sun and moving. I am ready to move on from being ill and so I will.
Green Hornet review. I loved this movie...it entertained on many levels, lots of cool car stuff and Kato as the side kick, mechanic and integral part of the team did not disappoint. I really like Seth Rogen in this movie as the millionaire, newspaper owner's son playboy type who discovers his ethical center. And Cameron Diaz who I usually cannot stand was fun here as the gorgeous brainiac. Very fun, very camp and lots of green in it. The cars were retro and fun. I have to say a word about the end credits...if you see this in 3D be sure to keep your glasses on for the whole end of the movie. The end credits are very visually interesting and WOW. They pop out of the screen and are graphically designed to be ZOWIE. Just wanted to let you know that. Anyways...I really recommend this movie as good solid entertainment and for the laugh factor. Also--the villain gives a subtle performance which is very amusing. It all works for me.
The joy of the long weekend is evident in that I am not having my usual Sunday melancholy set in. I have a wide open Monday. I might go for another walk today and cook a nice dinner tonight.
A word on my Slashy Valentine--major work going on there. My beta, the very clever
keiliss has given me some sound advice and my story is going to be retooled and used for other purposes. I am going to start ANOTHER story for this swap and hope to pull one out for this rather quickly. Fear not, I am happy about this turn of events as the story I wrote will work better for other things but now I have to get back to the drawing board on this one. More on this as it develops. Huzzah! Not done yet!
Cheers to all and have a great rest of your (long) weekend (USA).
