I spent the day yesterday with work chums. My friend D*** and R*** and I do movie days sometimes and yesterday we went to see the new Transformer: Rise of the Fallen movie. I made sure to watch the first movie Friday night so I was not totally lost as to the plot of these and I have to say...I love these rock em sock em robot things. It appeals to my love of sci fi and action combined. Gadgets, lots of cool gadgets in here and the kid that is the center of it all is well played by Shia LaBeouf and his girlfriend chiquita (babalicious chick) Megan Fox. In fact lots of people reappear from the first movie which really works, even John Turturro in a reprise of his neurotic wacked out role. So I loved this one and am a total fan of this franchise. Optimus Prime is my transformer of choice and it was nice to see that he is as special as I thought he was. :P
Today we are going to take a walk in Redwood Park up in the hills and then cook a nice Sunday dinner. Pork chops ala Tuxie (her recipe with the apple sauce and cheddar cheese) and then perhaps go for a hot tub tonight at the pool. I have tomorrow off as a START day, my voluntary reduction day and I am so looking forward to it. I don't know what I will do with that yet. Maybe a yoga class and a trip to IKEA. Will see what I do there.
So in general, all is good and I am doing well. Having a great weekend. Cheers to everyone and hope your weekends are going great.
