In other news...

Today is the 8th grade graduation for my friend J****'s kiddo. I have known him since he was born and gone through like everything with him to this point so I am going to the ceremony today. It is like, a big deal to him so gotta be there. La. He is growing up. I remember when he was just a little bebe. *waxes poetic here* Woo.

Budget news broke at the Uni but they did set it up so that we could give feedback on the options they posted. So I did. I told them they should preserve the voluntary reduction program that many of the staff were on as that would yield them more in the long run as far as budget savings goes. So let's see where that gets me. Probably no where. If they try and make the salary reduction in addition to what I took on my own...I will go off the program and just do theirs. No way am I taking two paycuts. They are smoking dope which would not be a surprise in good ole Berkeley. :P

Nice weather here for the summer time. Yays.
