With this week's intriguing post. Sometimes clothed dude's can be very sexy. I really like this photo and think it is from an underwear shoot. I got this off Gay Body Blog. Woo.

In other news...

I actually went out and did something cultural. We went to a comedy show in San Francisco at the Cobb Comedy Club just off of North Beach and it was fun fun fun.

First off the food report which was notable. We went to a restaurant called Calzones and I had some interesting things. I tried an appetizer---the pancetta wrapped scallops in a wasabi aoli sauce. Oh my gosh...one of the most interesting flavor combos ever. Really good. Then for my meal I had a butter leaf salad with cranberries, walnuts and a light blue cheese dressing, perfect. There was a bakery right next to the restaurant so I bought a genuine cannoli to eat in line at the comedy club and oh la la, ate the whole thing. It was a chocolate chip one, fresh and the filling was just delicious. I love cannolis and it reminded me of my home town, Boston, Ma.

On to the show...
We had great seats as we were first in line and had to wait for 1.5 hours. No problem.

The comedy was excellent and there is something really therapeutic about laughing. Catharctic almost. All of the comedians we saw were intelligently funny and used situational humor as opposed to just swearing and being disgusting. I don't find gross humor funny but if you appeal to my intelligence, that totally works for me. The first two comedians (names escape and I cannot find them on the web site of the club) did more local humor which was fun. John Oliver did a lot of things to do with being British in America, and his observances of America and such. He is very subtle and very hilarious. I found him both amiable, likable and amusing. I did find that I laughed alot and genuinely enjoyed his performance. I am sure I will try and catch him more on The Daily Show.

So cheers to all and I hope you are enjoying the weekend. Today is bill paying day and all that.
