Weekend Update
Spa Treatment
So we went to the A***** Beauty College for a facial. J**** and I had ones at the same time. I was so pleased with how it went. These were with students in training and I got a really nice person who had a very sure touch. They did a whole questionnaire to get our preferences which was a very good idea and I have to say, mine was as good as a professional person. They worked with a more experienced student helping them and with their instructor supervising so I got very good attention. I could tell S***** was nervous at first but the more we got into the treatment, the more confident she got. My skin feels great and she was wonderful at the massage part which really helped my injured shoulder. I would go there again---definitely. It cost 30.00 which is about 1/3 of the salon price. The facilities were nice and clean and they used plenty of hot towels. Very nice.
Slumdog Millionaire
Totally brings you into the underclass of India. I won't tell much about this one as I really think you should see the movie but I got totally absorbed in this movie and it really does get you into it. It follows the structure of the game show format in the telling of the character's story along with his interrogation. Very interesting way to get at the story. Lots of dramatis and I love how we get to see the cast at the end. True Bollywood set up there. Go and enjoy this movie.
We went around Alameda yesterday and I think we are going back as I have to pick up a painting that is at the frame shop. I want to take it to work to hang up in my new office (cubicle but more private).
My new TV thing is The Food Network. I am really enjoying watching the cooking shows. This weekend they are doing things with chocolate. Woo.
Hope everyone is well and having a good weekend. Cheers.
