So I had time to think last night and I realized that I might have "reacted" a bit too "extremely" to my supervisor's email. I sat down with her and we had a discussion about our perceptions of the situation and worked it out. She had not had enough background on what had transpired previously and I had not read her email carefully. She was not saying no to my request. She was saying she had to see what would happen. A shade of difference but different.

She felt that I would be able to take the workshop and there would be no problem with it. I am cool with it.

My old supervisor said I do tend to react to things sometimes. Yikes. Ahh well. She said I am only human. *sheepish look*

Thanks for the super support here on the comments y'all. I really appreciate it. I had a great day here and I am going out for a steak meal. Woot. Angus here I come. Woo.
