A Sunday is a Bunday....
Nov. 9th, 2008 11:57 amSo today I did something I never do. I googled for the buns and SCORED. He he he. This is what I came up with today. This image is from a book called..."A Woman's Guide to Men's Buns". I think it is sort of a historical look at the buns. Don't know but I liked this photo. So enjoy.

The Phyncke report...
So what has been going on with me? I had a crazy week at work. We had a Fellowships event on Thursday and I had to produce two of the handouts for that. I got to use my design skills for that and produced the pieces for it. Was very fun. I am glad to be able to work on things and use the CS3 program at work. It is fun to make a hobby into something professional. Who knew that would happen.
I had Friday off and did a little of this and that. I got my mirror fixed on my car. It had been smashed Halloween night. It gets a little rowdy in our neighborhood. I found a glass company that could replace the piece of glass instead of the whole assembly which would have cost $200-250. I paid 70.00 for the glass and install. Woo. I went to lunch at my fave restaurant in Oakland. Had the eggs bennie and a pancake. Stellar food there. Then I stopped at my consignment store to spend my credit for things I put on consignment there. I just love that. It is like having a clothing budget.
Saturday I made graphics and I really enjoyed my offer this time. I let requestors pick their color scheme and I made them surprise fairy blinkies. It was really fun to do all different things this time. I limited it to five (with some extras because I never turn people away) and came up with some really nice images there. I am also working on my winter icon and gallery update. I made a bunch of really eclectic and fun icons. Having fun with that.
I am not doing the NaNo whatever this month but I do have two stories to get finished this month. One took a turn that I did not expect but that is how it goes. The muse just does what she will do, eh?
It is a gorgeous day here. I need to clean today and have some time outside. Hope you all are well and enjoy the rest of your weekend. I have Tuesday off and am looking forward to that. Woo.
Cheers.
