*rhythmically pounds head on desk* Why am I not surprised that an interaction with the same person would be the same or worse given that the person had not changed. In fact that person had shown signs of more extreme behavior as evidenced in their writing and tastes.

Life is a learning experience and experience is the best teacher. Say that over and over again.
