Dear **** Division Staff and Deans,
Thank you all for continually providing excellent feedback on our ********. Many of you have suggested that every staff member of the *******, including the Deans, undergo training on the Guide to ensure consistency of information across units.
In response to this valuable feedback, we developed the on-line course “****** Policy Training.” The course provides three-and-a-half hours of training that will be required for all staff every two years. The course does not have to be taken in one sitting; if you need to return to the training, the program will take you to where you last were in the course. Access to the course is provided via ******Net authentication. The training is interactive and contains many challenging and interesting real-life workplace situations. We are requesting that you complete the course by this Friday, 5pm.

Now what you have to know is that we have these things all the time. Mandatory this and mandatory that so our first reaction to this was....hell no and hell no. I sit in a cubicle set up here and all of us grumbled and groused and were like basically what the ever loving fah. We did that for a solid 30-45 minutes before the next evolutionary leap thought to click on the link...I will admit that it was not me that did that. What added weight to the message was that it was the head Dean who signed it too. Jokester that he is.
