A new method...
Jan. 13th, 2008 12:03 amSo one of my new year's resolutions is to become a more productive writer and to this end I started a new method. I now carry a notebook with me. Yes, I am Harriet the Spy. *snort*
And no, I am not.
What I do is, I have a notebook devoted to fiction and story ideas, a half sized one that fits nicely most places. I keep it with me, either in my purse or by the bed and I write in it when an idea strikes or I need to get something down. I tell you, I have lost more ideas due to lack of a place to put them at the moment they occur to me.
So I think this is the solution.
Last night I wrote a challenge fic of 500 words...little bit more. And today while I was out and about I wrote another fic in this anthology or arc. That is loads for me.
So hoonay. I think this might actually work. It will definitely work for shorter pieces which I have wanted to try and get into writing.
Makes me happy. *geek*
