This is still open and on special for the first days of Spring, so I am reposting the entry for any interested parties. Request away if you like these...that is what this is for. I love making these for people and you never know...some flowers may show up on your journal...heh.

I have adapted a series of icon from the prints of this wonderful photographer and am posting them here as customizable, requestable icons for my friends list. You can have as many of these as you want. Just let me know which ones...the names are noted on the table and what name you would like on them. If you would like something other than your LJ Name that is ok too, just let me know what text to put on them.

The samples presented here use my LJ name as a model. There is also a Spring icon for public use. I ask that if you use these icons you credit Harold Feinstein as the photographer and me as the iconer. I know that is a lot to remember but they are his photographs.

To Auggie...

Wife, sister, Holocaust survivor, intellectual, Berkeleyan, music appreciator...with elegance, grace and humour she met life at each turn. Well she died today, of complications from a stroke. She had survived her husband a few years and her sister...she was 84.

She lived in my town and considered me a friend of her family. My memories of her include coffees at Peet's, Sunday night potluck's and talking about anything you could imagine. She would always listen attentively and have something informed to say.

I have to say, she lived a full and fruitful life. She had heart, spirit and courage.

I will miss her.
