The massage report....
Sep. 18th, 2005 08:40 pmSo it was divine. It was heavenly. It was inspired. It was all it should be.
I got the perfect massage therapist. I did not know anyone at this place so I took my chances and sometimes you get a talker i.e. a therapist who likes to gab at you through the whole thing thereby ruining your peaceful moments. Well mine was silent. She asked me what I wanted in a massage and told me to turn over at the right moments and kept very quiet. It was perfect. My friend, Julie got a real gabber and it almost ruined her experience.
She did the Swedish type of massage which is what I requested. I cannot take the deep tissue massage. I find that too painful. Deep tissue is where they dig into you and kill your muscles. Swedish is where they use slow, langourous motion to create heat and friction to work your muscles. It is most relaxing. The spa I go to is cute and oomby goomby. It is full of Buddhas and Thai statues and they play this new age music in every room to get you in the mood. So wonderful.
I recommend massage to anyone who has any muscle tension or gets stressed. I have been floating on a cloud all day. I will sleep very well tonight. I would love to be able to go once a month but I am not sure the finances can handle that. I am going to try though. Perhaps if I cut back on my Diet Coke habit. Gah. Perish the thought!
Nighty. If you have had a massage, leave a note with your experiences. I would love to hear them.
PS---went to the Farmer's Market this morning and bought the most delicious organic grapes and fresh strawberries. Mmmm. Love that.
