Boycott www.sparkletags.com

I want to alert my lj friendslist and any people who like to use glitter graphics to an upsetting image that I found on www.sparkletags.com tonight. Basically it a homophobic image. I am posting it here so that you can see it and I am asking that people send in their protest to that site to let them know that they should not promote this kind of intolerance. I know these are private sites but it is the ideas that get out there. It is my hope that they will take it down.
Here is the image. Be aware that it definitely does NOT express my view. I am a slash writer.

I wrote my email just now. If you want to do the same. Send yours in to:

Here is the text of my message behind an LJ cut.

I am writing you to let you know that I am highly offended by an image that I saw on your site tonight. So much so that I am going to post it on my livejournal and encourage all my online friends and graphics enthusiasts to boycott your site. Trust me, this will get around. Things like this always do.
It is the one on p. 17 of the Text section. It reads:
100% Heterosexual
Queers Prohibited.
This image and message are offensive on so many levels I do not know where to begin. Graphics and computer images know no sexual orientation. You are encouraging homophobia by having this image on your site and encouraging people to publish this horrible message on their own blogs and journals.
Your are in effect spreading anti-gay and anti-lesbian sentiment on the internet.
I was happily downloading images from your site but no longer. I am appalled and upset. I hope that my friends send in protests to you. I hope that you hear MY outrage loud and clear.
There is nothing wrong with homosexuality. You are wrong to do this and influence kids and teenagers who are the main users of glitter graphics. In other places on your site you have a text message saying "Hater Free Zone". Well I think you should get with THAT message and stop promoting hate on your own site.
I hope you get this as a heads up.
Sincerely,
***My name***
