phynckeIt was beautification day for Jane here today in lovely Berkeley, CA USA. I went to the beauty salon and got my hair taken care of. It really needed it. It was really ratty and my color had totally grown out. So I got the dye and cut done and feel like a totally new person. I was tired of wearing my hair in those scrunchy things.
I treated myself to lunch at a local Middle Eastern restaurant and then went CD shopping tonight. I spent way too much money today but I feel good.
So I am sure you are wondering what I bought. I got:
Crash Test Dummies, Give Yourself A Hand
Sinead O'Connor's Greatest Hits
Ben Folds Five's Greatest Hits
I love the Crash Test Dummies and I have heard Sylvie mention Ben Folds Five and I listened to them in the store. I found I really liked their sound so made an impulse purchase. I have not bought new music in a very long time. I deserved it. My finances are a little tight but I will survive.
I am a little nervous about this new job tomorrow but will go in all dressed up and take charge. I will be working with people I know so that makes it a little bit easier.
