DW Styles and Customization...

So I was playing with the layouts and trying to figure out headers. All of the canned layouts for free accounts do not allow headers or background images but I went to the DW styles comm which is here:

And found out that the core2 testing layout allows use of header images, background and other images with layouts. It is very bare bones so you have to do a lot of programming with that one. I am not using that right now, but once I design my banner, I will use that one to put it in here.

I thought that might help people as they design their spaces here. For me it is a matter of figuring out how to get the look that I want here.

I got my new layout from thefulcrum http://community.livejournal.com/thefulcrum/27856.html. They have several there that can be used for here.

You can add a header to Negatives with the following code:

#header {background: url(URL) center center no-repeat; padding: HEIGHT+45px 0 0 0; margin: -30px 0 0 0;}

Yeah, its kinda nice here, it has a different vibe than LJ, but I feel more at place than at IJ or GJ, strangely enough. Will have a look at the comm now. Thanks *hugs*
