Snowflake Challenge Day 1

I will do a short answer to this one - I am phyncke here and in the fandom - I use this name on the blogs and as my writing name. I came at this name as a phonetic spelling of my real name. I write in the Tolkien/Silmarillion fandom and have dabbled in the Terminator fandom a little bit. I mainly do the one fandom. I have never really branched out. I also used to do LJ graphics and have somewhat given that up - I used to do custom graphics on request. No time for that anymore and I cannot access my graphics anymore since photobucket is so messed up and all my stuff is on an old computer.
In my day job, I am an event planner and I do a lot of organizing and events - I work for a major university. I love working in education. I love how smart everyone is and I do love the mission. I feel that education is important.
Other things about me - I usually have two or three books going at the same time - avid reader. I don't write much anymore but wish I was writing more. I usually do two challenges a year and produce two stories a year. So I would say I have a toe in the fandom.
That is about it for me.

Your job sounds like it's probably interesting, if hectic at times, and it must be great working in a university setting (and yeah, everyone is really smart, lol - my brother and my sister-in-law both work in academia).
Reading multiple books round-robin rather than one book at a time is the way to go. *g*

I love books and found that reading more at once made me happier. So I love that.
Happy new year to you!
