Slashy Valentine Update (Final)

I have submitted my Slashy Valentine story to the web site! Wootles. I am done.

A huge thank you to keiliss for her super beta work. She has the right stuff and to red_lasbelin for soothing my irate Aegnor and putting him FIRST on the character list. He says that is right and proper. He IS the most important character in the fandom. No question about that...the sharp flame rules!

Well, he feels it is due to his level of importance, charm, charisma and good looks. All of that combined to make him FIRST. No small ego there. :P

I added a small line of explanation about that in the fic. I did not want to make that a big point of departure and it was in my mind but not something I wanted to spend a lot of time on. Sufficiently explained but not much time spent on -- a descriptive really but very good point you raised. I was writing with that in mind and think that I thought it was in there but it was not. So good catch! :)

I felt it was something that needed to be explained briefly but well, so there would be a logic to it. Otherwise the risk with that type of story is people think perhaps you don't know your canon (though in this case, a reader who didn't know who he was would also have been very puzzled, though for different reasons) Glad you got it sorted :)
