Better day today...

Things seem a bit better today. I was super productive and adopted a no stick attitude. I have decided to be impervious to things that happen and work more on getting out of my current position. This shift in thought put me in a better frame of mind. I also was super productive and I got a lot of things done on bitchetta's event. I am professional and would never let her thing effect how I perform on a project. That is how I roll.

Anyhoo. Glad, I am that it is Friday.

So my old PC has decided to crap out on me. I think it is finally dying. I do have another computer (a mac) but the PC was my graphics making machine so not sure what I am going to do about making graphics right now. I cannot decide if I should replace the PC or not. What do people with macs do about making graphics? Are there programs out there for the mac? Just checking.

So that is about it from this end. Thanks to everyone for the supportive comments on my last post. Really appreciate it.

You're a better man than I, Jane boo. I stayed home today.

I just have the laptop - I know nothing about Macs, sorry...

I had too many projects to stay home but would have. Good for you too! I need to figure the mac thing out. Hmm.

I'm glad work was a bit better for you today. And I say "good for you" for not calling in. I do that more often than I like to admit. I really believe that it's the thing to do in certain circumstances. But I also think that, when there is a conflict with a co-worker, I feel better if I go in and do my job, business as usual. You write about your job here, and it's obvious you have a lot of pride in your work. You're a professional.

I hope you enjoy your weekend. I plan to enjoy mine!

I do like my work but it is my co workers I have issue with. Anyhoo. Better today and I felt good about just doing my thing. Thanks, doll!

I'm sorry you're going through such a time. I know we all have ups and downs with work - that is life - but I'm impressed with the way you're dealing with it. The positive attitude is a good idea and I hope it continues to put you on a better standing. You might also find it helps to make your attention more positively focused on the job hunting. *hugs* Wish you well!

Can't help you with a Mac, sorry. Apple's the worse devil than Microsoft for me. :D

P.S. Love they layout, btw! :)

That is the breaks with work. Up and down etc. Got to roll with it. I really love my department but my immediate co workers are a hassle. Anyhoo.

Thanks! I just changed the layout this week!

Sometimes it takes a shift in attitude to help deal with all the crap. I have used this method repeatedly and it works. It doesn't cure things though (for me) but it gives a space so I can decide a forward direction.

It does help to shift the mindset but what you say is true. Thanks, doll! :)
