So on the way to Washington, I bought an issue of Real Simple magazine. It had a lot of things that I really liked in it but one of its new year's things to ponder was the very simple question to answer:
What will you do differently in 2010?
So I throw this out to the friends list and if you want to re-post and consider this as a New Year's meme, that would be kind of fun. I will do my answer's behind the cut. I have been thinking and considering things and this is a little bit of a turn on the resolutions. It is a bit different as resolutions are something you end up breaking and this way of looking at things is a bit more transformative...
So positivity for 2010, here we go!
I be more frugal and not buy things I do not need.
I will save more and create a discretionary emergency fund.
I will move more and integrate an exercise program that is fun into my weekly routine.
I will eat in season ala Alice Waters.
I will have a healthier cholesterol indicator.
I will control the clutter in my life and live with clean surfaces and open space around me.
I will continue on my healthy path that I have started.
I will create calmness in my life and be kind to those around me.
I will avoid conflict and stress that is unnecessary.
I will seek to grow both personally and professionally.
I will apply my mind to my interests and profession.
I will follow my own path, and be creative, innovative.
I will be kinder.
